Biography
Joanne Bertelsen Barnett has been a member of the Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies since 1980 and has extensive theatre management experience ranging from being the executive director of touring performance companies to managing the theater at Tufts for over the past 35 years. In addition, Joanne is the Director of the Tufts Children's Theater programs which include the popular Magic Circle Theater and Creative Arts summer programs. Joanne has many years of experience in training students in arts administration, front of house, and box office management, many of whom are currently working with theaters and performance groups in New York, California, Chicago, and throughout the United States.
