Biography
Hyung Ji Yu (Heidi) is an international choreographer, dancer, and instructor based in NYC. Her studies culminated in 2015 with an MFA in dance from NYU Tisch. In the US, Heidi performed with Roxey Ballet and Albano Ballet Company and became ABT certified teacher. She is an artistic director of As Arts NY Dance and has taught at Sacred Heart University, Ailey Camp at Johns Hopkins University, and Broadway Dance Center. As a choreographer, she received a CUNY Dance Residency at The City College of New York. Her choreography has shown throughout NYC, including Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, Symphony Space, and Kaye Playhouse.
